Effective Date: January 18, 2026. This page provides access to Sakar's terms, policies, and guidelines for learners, schools, and creators.
Terms of Use (Learners)
Welcome to Sakar (“Platform”, “we”, “our”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Sakar as a learner. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Sakar. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2. Platform Role
Sakar operates as a learning marketplace. Courses are created and managed by independent schools and educators. Sakar provides the technical infrastructure for course delivery and enrollment.
3. Learning Experience
Courses are delivered using platform-supported learning features, which currently include pre-recorded content and assignments. Assignment feedback, where offered, is provided at the discretion of the course creator.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately via the Support page.
5. Refunds
All course enrollments are final. Because course access is delivered immediately upon approval, refunds are not available. By enrolling, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing a course you paid for, please contact us through the Support page and we'll help resolve it.
6. Certificates
When you complete all videos and exercises in a course, you earn a completion certificate. Certificates recognize your achievement on Sakar and are not accredited academic credentials.
7. Questions or Concerns?
If something doesn't feel right — a payment issue, a course problem, or anything else — reach out to us via the Support page. We'll respond within 7 days and do our best to make things right.
If we can't resolve things directly, both parties agree to seek informal mediation before taking any further steps.
Privacy Policy
We care about your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.
1. Information We Collect
- Name and email address (to create your account)
- Profile information like language level (to personalize your experience)
- Enrollment and learning progress (to track your achievements)
- Payment confirmation details (to process your enrollment)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to deliver your courses, track your learning progress, award achievements, and send you helpful notifications (like streak reminders and course updates). We never sell your data to anyone.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on cloud servers. We use industry-standard encryption for passwords and secure connections (HTTPS) for all data transfers.
4. Sharing
We share your enrollment info with the school whose course you joined (so they can teach you). We do not share your personal information with any other third parties.
5. Your Rights
You can request a copy of all your data or ask us to delete your account at any time from your Settings page. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences (like dark mode). We use Google Analytics to understand how the platform is used — this helps us improve your experience.

Content & Takedown
All courses on Sakar are created by independent schools and educators. Schools are responsible for ensuring their content is original or properly licensed.
1. Reporting Content Issues
If you believe any content on Sakar infringes your copyright or other rights, please contact us through the Support page with the following information:
- Your name and contact information
- A description of the content you believe is infringing
- The location (course name or URL) where the content appears on Sakar
- A brief explanation of why you believe the content infringes your rights
2. What Happens Next
When we receive a valid takedown request:
- We review the request within 7 business days
- If the claim appears valid, we temporarily remove or restrict access to the content
- We notify the school/educator who uploaded the content and give them a chance to respond
- If the school provides evidence that the content is properly licensed or original, we may restore it
- If the dispute cannot be resolved, the content stays removed
3. Prohibited Content
Schools may not upload content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or promotes illegal activity. Sakar reserves the right to remove any such content immediately without prior notice.
4. Community Content
Students may post questions and comments in the Hub (course Q&A). Posts that are flagged as spam, inappropriate, or off-topic by multiple users are automatically hidden for review. Sakar may remove any community content that violates these terms.
Instructor Terms
These terms apply to schools and educators ("Instructors") who create and host courses on the Sakar platform.
Early Partner Promotion
Sakar is currently free to use. No platform commissions will be deducted from instructor earnings until February 28, 2026.
Dashboard & Payout Calculation
Instructors can track real-time sales and enrollment statistics via the **Instructor Dashboard**.
Please note: While the dashboard may display standard commission splits for analytical purposes, all final payouts for sales processed during the promotion period will be manually adjusted to the 100% Instructor Share.

Earnings & Payouts (Beta)
During the beta period, earnings are calculated monthly. Sakar will waive all platform fees for sales processed before the end of February 2026. Payouts are handled manually between the 1st and 5th of each month.
Promotion & Pricing Policy
This policy outlines how pricing and promotional activities are managed on the platform. Our goal is to ensure instructors have complete transparency and control over their course value.
Fixed Pricing Integrity
Sakar does not currently have an automated discount or "deal" program. We will not promote or advertise your courses with any price reductions without a specific, individual agreement.
Beta 2 Launch Freedom
During the **Beta 2** phase, instructors are encouraged to launch and promote their courses at their desired price points. You are safe to market your content knowing your established price will remain consistent on the platform.
1. Base Pricing
Instructors set the base price of their courses. Sakar provides the infrastructure to host and sell these courses but does not interfere with the valuation set by the school or educator.
2. External Promotion
While Sakar provides general marketplace visibility, instructors are responsible for their own external marketing strategies. Your desired pricing is protected and will not be undercut by platform-wide sales during this period.
3. Future Program Deals
Any future promotional programs or platform-led discount campaigns will be introduced with opt-in controls for instructors. No participation is mandatory, and no deals will be applied to your account without prior notification and consent.
Creator Program Terms
The Creator Program allows influencers ("Creators") to promote courses.
Beta Terms
Sakar is currently in beta. By using the platform, you acknowledge:
- Features and tools may change without notice
- Verification and payouts are handled manually
- Payment delays may occur during system testing
- The platform is provided 'as is' during beta
